Quarantine Questions
So normally this blog is full of my thoughts on life, but today I have decided to dedicate this entry to my quarantine questions. Now these questions are not inherently quarantine specific, but rather the product of spending lots of time with my thoughts and taking lots of amazing and thought-provoking classes at Jen Waldman Studio. My favorite part about these questions is that they aren’t necessarily looking for an answer, but instead looking for self-growth. My hope is that you may find one that is just the idea you needed to Jump Start your creativity today :)
Why are we so willing to show up for others but not ourselves?
If our tendency is to show up for others, what happens when we are isolated and the other is taken away? Are we not showing up at all?
If being an artist is about cultivating empathy, can we be an artist outside of "the arts?
Who gets to decide what “art” is?
Why do we see our contributions as positive but our existence as a burden?
How can we be authentic for others if we are not authentic with ourselves?
Why are we the best at giving what we truly wish to receive?
